Amazon Prime Adding 37 Movies On October 1

Amazon on October 1 is adding 37 new movies to its Prime streaming lineup, including two Martin Scorsese classics.

The new films will include The Departed, Scorsese’s 2006 crime drama starring Jack Nicholson as his wolfish best in the role of mobster Frank Costello. Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Alec Baldwin, Mark Wahlberg, Vera Farmiga and Martin Sheen round out an exceptional cast in what may be Scorsese’s best movie since Casino in 1995. Hell, maybe since Goodfellas; yes, it’s that good. William Monahan’s taut but pulpy script (pulpy in a good way) keeps you on the edge of your seat, and Marty’s characteristic adrenaline-fueled direction leaves you breathless from beginning to end.
